DL - Look for DF0RR/p and DN1JC/p to be aired
from Usedom Island (EU-129) between 23 and 28 May. DF0RR/p will
have two stations on 10-80 metres (with the possibility of 2 and
6 metres) CW, SSB and digital modes; they will participate in the
CQ WW WPX Contest (Multi-Single). DN1JC/p will operate mostly on

F - A large group of French operators (namely
F5AUB, F5OSN, F5RVI, F5DBX, F5UOE, F5BJW, F5BKB, F4CLO, F5JBR,
F5VV, and F5XX) will be signing F5XX/P from Fort Brescou (EU-148)
on 24-28 May. Three of them will participate in the CQ WW WPX CW

FG - Jack, RW3QC and Igor, RN3OA will be
active as FG/KC8QKF (on 160-80 metres, including RTTY and PSK-31)
from Guadeloupe (NA-102) between 21 and 28 May. QSL via RN3OA
either direct (Igor Zakharov, P.O.Box 381, Voronezh, 394000,
Russia) or through the bureau. Jack will participate in the CQ WW
WPX CW Contest as FG5BG (SOAB HP). [TNX RN3OA]
FP - Look for FP5AC, FP5BU, FP5BZ and FP5CJ
to operate on all HF bands as FP5KE from Ile aux Marins (DIFO
FP-006), St. Pierre et Miquelon (NA-032) on 25-27 May. QSL via

G - "Not many 2E0s in this country are
active and even less in contest", Jim, 2E0ATS says in
announcing his partecipation in the CQ WW WPX CW Contest (on
10/15 metres).
GM - Peter, GM3OFT will operate from Garbh
Eilean, Shiant Islands (EU-112) for three days during the period
28 May-6 June. He hopes also to be active from a few other
islands in the Outer Hebrides (EU-010) during the 10 days before

HB0 - Rob, PA0RDY will operate as HB0/PA0RDY
from Liechtenstein on 25-29 May. He will partecipate in the CQ WW
WPX CW Contest and expects to be active on RTTY and SSB before

HS - Champ, E21EIC reports he will be active
from the RAST club station HS0AC during the CQ WW WPX CW Contest,
possibly as single operator. His suggested frequencies for 80 and
160 metres are 3524 and 1834 kHz. QSL via HS0/G3NOM.
I - Activity is expected to take place from
Torcello Island (EU-131, IIA VE-011) on 19-20 May during the 5th
Meeting of the Crazy DX Group.
KH2 - JE3EJC expects to be active (on 80-6
metres CW and SSB) as KH2/JE3EJC from Guam (OC-026) on 18-19 May.

KH2 - Guam Contest Club member JG3RPL,
JI3ERV, JR7OMD and JR8VSE will participate in the CQ WW WPX CW
Contest as AH2R from Guam (OC-026) in the Multi-Single category.

OZ - Uwe, DL8UD reports he will operate on
all bands SSB and CW as OZ3UD from Samso island (EU-172) between

PA - Maurice, ON4BAM will be signing
PA/ON4BAM/m from Terschelling Island (EU-038) on 24-27 May. QSL

PY - Paul, PY3DX (ex PY3PAZ) will participate
in the CW WW WPX CW Contest (26-27 May) as PU3A portable on Santa
Caterina Island (SA-026). Koetz/PY3KK, Xris/PY3FOX and Andy/PY3YY
will be going with him and operate mainly SSB on the WARC bands.

PY - The Caio Martins Scout Group, PT2CM, is
planning an operation from the Abrolhos Archipelago (SA-019) in
December 2001, including an entry in the ARRL 10 Meter Contest.

PY0_fdn - Dennis, K7BV reports his DXpedition
to Fernando de Noronha (SA-003) will begin on 24 May as scheduled
[425DXN 521]. After an all-band single operator effort in the CQ
WW WPX CW contest, he will operate through 1 June on all bands
160-6 metres, primarily on CW. Special callsign PV0F will be used
throughout the operation. 9BDXCC chasers are invited to contact

SP - Special event call SN45KDU will be aired
until 31 May and again on 1-18 November by SP9KDU to celebrate
the 45th anniversary of the Radio Club in Tarnowskie Gory,

SV9 - Look for Laci/HA0HW, Tamas/HA4DX and
Bandi/HA5NG to be active respectively as J49HW, J49DX and J49NG
from Crete (EU-015) between 25 May and 7 June. They will
participate in the CQ WW WPX CW Contest and will also try to
operate from one of the coastal islands (EU-187) on 2-3 June. QSL

VE - Nenad, VE3EXY will operate as VE3EXY/2
from around 23 UTC on 23 May to 13 UTC on the 28th from CQ Zone
2. He plans to be active on CW (mostly during the WPX Contest)
and RTTY, with some PSK31 (possible, but not guaranteed). Look
for him on 1827, 3510, 7010, 14025, 18077, 21025, 24897, 28025
kHz CW and 14090, 21090 kHz RTTY. QSL via VE3EXY either direct or

YU - Boban, YZ1AU reports he will participate
in the CQ WW WPX CW Contest as 4O1W (single operator on 10
metres) from a remote mountain location (1830m asl) QSL via

ZB - Martyn, G3RFX will be in Gibraltar again
from 22 May to 7 June signing ZB2FX. He and will be active on

the cards ("a high quality 4-sided card, which will
look good in everyone's QSL collection") are being
printed in Germany, and should arrive with Phil, G3SWH
late May. Phil expects to get into the QSL activity when
he gets back home after his 4-11 June 8Q7WH trip to the
Maldives [425DXN 519]. Please note that SWL cards do not
go to G3SWH, but to BRS 32525 (Bob Treacher, 93 Elibank
Rd, Eltham, London SE9 1QJ, England).

all HF bands from Djbouti until June 2002. His logs are

that about 70% of the direct QSLs for the February PW0S
operation (roughly 2000 cards) have been put in the mail.

Fujio (JO1XWH), Cherdchai Yiwlek, HS0GBI (QSL manager for
E29DX and E29AL) states that all his various addresses
are active. However he prefers cards to be sent to P.O.

that all direct requests for XW3ZNR, XW3QBR, XU7AAY and
XU7AAZ have been processed. If you are still waiting for

W6MD) is now W2FB. He reports he is still the QSL manager
for 5B4/T93Y, T93Y, T94EU, YB1XUR, YB2BRW, YB2UU, YC8NLF,
YC8VIP, YC8VIP/7 and YC9WZJ. Please note that:
bureau cards can be sent to the T9 and YB bureaux
or to Steve, but note that he does bureau mailing
only once a year, as priority is given to direct
requests;
cards for YC9WZJ's IOTA expedition in
October-December 2000 do not go to Steve, but to
YC9BU;
Steve currently cannot confirm any QSO with
either YC0MZI and YB0MZI, as he has neither the
logs nor the cards.
