This week's bulletin was made possible with info provided by

ANGOLA, D2. Peter, DG1RPV, Henri, DL2RSI and
Axel, DL4KAI, are QRV as D2PV, D2HB, and D2AO, respectively. They
should remain active until July 28. Try 14140, 21280 and 28560
kHz between 1600 and 1800z.
CAPE VERDE, D4. Veronica, IK3VAW, should be
starting her D4 operations this weekend from the station of one
or more local amateurs. Check 14240 kHz SSB. QSL via IK3VAW.
BELAU, KC6. Tosy, JA6VZB, is planning a
DXpedition for late 1996/early 1997. The call sign KC6VW has been
mentioned, as well as the timeframe December 28 to January 5.
VANUATU, YJ. Ron, ZL1AMO, has wrapped up
operations as 3D2RW from Fiji and moved along and is now signing
YJ0ARW. He is operating a lot of 40 and 20 meter CW, though he
has also been on RTTY. QSL via ZL1AMO.
COMOROS, D6. Maike, DL4XS, Dieter, DL3KDV,
and Mirko, DL6ET, will operate CW, SSB and RTTY on all HF bands,
concentrating on the lower bands. They will be in Comoros August
22 to September 3. Then they travel to Mayotte. See next item.
MAYOTTE, FH. DL4XS, DL3KDV and DL6ET will
operate FH/ until September 11. QSL both the D6 and FH operations
via DL4XS, either via the bureau or to Maike Stargardt,
Friedrichsthal 21, 51688 Wipperfuerth, Germany.
CLIPPERTON ISLAND, FO. Long distance solo
sailor David, KE6WDL, is in the early stages of planning a trip
for this winter from Los Angeles to Panama. David wants to stop
on Clipperton Island and operate for a day or two, though he
needs info on obtaining permission, et cetera.
OLYMPIC STATION W4O. Jim, N4UCK, reports W4O
has been issued and is being used at the official Olympics
commemorative station in Atlanta.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The Newington
Amateur Radio League, NARL, will operate W1AW from 1400 to 2000z
July 20 as part of the 125th anniversary of the incorporation of
the Town of Newington CT. Check around 3900, 7040, 7230, 14040,
14225, 21305 and 28305 kHz. QSL direct to W1AW.
After working W1AW, try the North American QSO RTTY Party or
the following contests. Colombian Independence, North QRP Summer,
SEANET CW, South Pacific 160 Meter and Wire Antler. Info is on
