VIETNAM, 3W. Larry, K6SGD, will
sign XV1Z from October 20 to November 14, using mostly RTTY. QSL
to home call.
NIGERIA, 5N. Mario is QRV as
5N9EAM. QSL via IK7JTF.
EASTERN MALAYSIA, 9M6. Ed, K8EP,
is currently QRV using mostly CW on 40 to 10 meters and operating
from 9M6AAC in Hillview Gardens on Sabah. QSL via N2OO.
ERITREA, E3. Jacky, E31AA, has
been QRV lately on 30, 20, 17, 12 and 10 meters using mostly CW
from 1600 to 2300z. QSL via ZL3CW.
GUADELOUPE, FG. Members of the
Southern California DX Club will be QRV from October 17 to 27 as
FG/homecalls before and after the CQ WW SSB Contest. Activity is
on 160 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. For the contest, look for
them to use FG5BG. QSL via operator's instructions.
ANTARCTICA. Dave will be QRV as
KC4AAA, generally on 14243 khz, from 0000 to 0800z daily until
November 4. QSL via NC6J.
ALAND ISLANDS, OH0. OH3MFP and
OH3LQK are currently QRV as OH0MFP and OH0LQK, respectively. They
are active on 40 to 10 meters, including 12 and 6 meters. QSL to
home call.
BRAZIL, PY. Look for PQ1Q to be
QRV from Grande Island, IOTA SA-029 until October 18. QSL via
PP5LL.
SEYCHELLES, S7. Dr. Singh,
S79SBP, has been active on the Family Hour net on 21350 khz
around 1740z. QSL to Dr. R. J. Singh, Box 52, Mahe Island,
Republic of Seychelles, Indian Ocean.
HONG KONG, VR2. VR2SS will be
active as VR98SS/p from Lamma Island, IOTA AS-006, until October
20. QSL via JK2PNY
BURKINA FASO, XT. Harold, XT2AW,
can be found daily on 20 meters using CW beginning around 0000z
until about 0300z. QSL via DF2WO.
CAYMAN ISLANDS, ZF. Bruce,
N6NT/ZF2NT, is QRV again until April 1999. QSL via N2AU.
JAMBOREE ON THE AIR. Look for
W1AW/p, H5ABP, LU3VAL, GB0AAF, TF3JAM, HB9S, K2BSA stations, and
other international Scout stations to be QRV for JOTA. Some
activity on satellite KO-25 is expected in addition to operations
on other bands and modes.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The
JARTS WW RTTY Contest, QRP ARCI Fall CW QSO Party, Illinois QSO
Party, RSGB 21/28 Mhz CW contest, YLRL YL Anniversary Phone
contest and the Jamboree On The Air will certainly keep
