FIJI, 3D2. Craig, 3D2TC, has been QRV on 20
meters SSB between 0400 and 0600z.
GUINEA, 3X. Robert, 3XY1BO, has been QRV on
21005 khz between 1700 and 1800z. QSL via F5XX.
PHILIPPINES, DU. Until December 31, 1999,
some Philippine amateur radio stations will be using the special
anniversary prefix DU67 to celebrate the 67th year of the
founding of the Philippine Amateur Radio Association.
CANARY ISLANDS, EA8. Steve, G0UIH, will be
active as EA8/G0UIH/p from October 21 to 28. His operations will
be SSB only on 20 to 10 meters. QSL to home call.
ANTARCTICA. EM1KGG is QRV from Vernadsky
Antarctic base on Galindez Island, IOTA AN-006. QSL via UT7UA.
Meanwhile, Tom, VK0TS, is still active from the Davis base, IOTA
AN-016. He can be found around 14245 khz between 1000 and 1200z.

AUSTRAL ISLANDS, FO. Marcel, ON4QM, is QRV as
FO0DEH from Raivavae, IOTA OC-114, until October 19. QSL to home
call.
MARIANA ISLANDS, KH0. Northern Kyushu DX Club
members JA6AGA and JA6CNL will be active on all bands using
mostly CW as KH0/AF4IN and KH0N, respectively. QSL to home calls.
PALMYRA AND JARVIS ISLANDS, KH5. Norbert,
DF6FK, and his XYL Judith, DL2ZAD, are QRV as KH5/homecalls until
October 21. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters SSB only. QSL both
calls via DF6FK.
LEBANON, OD. Genevieve, F5SQM, is now active
using mostly CW as OD/F5SQM. She plans to participate in major
contests. QSL via F6FYA.
BRAZIL, PY. Look for PX7ZZ to be QRV October
23 to 24 from the St. Alberto Lighthouse. Activity will be on 80
to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via PS7ZZ.
SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. Oleg, R1ANF/A, has
been active on 20 meters CW after 0100z from the Korean Antarctic
research base King Sejong. QSL via RK1PWA.
BURKINA FASO, XT. Mako, XT2HP, was QRV on
21175 khz just after 0800z. He is also QRV on 20 meters using CW
around 2100 to 2200z. QSL via JA1OEM.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The RSGB 21/28 MHz
CW Contest, JARTS WW RTTY Contest, Illinois QSO Party,
Asia-Pacific CW Sprint and the Worked All Germany Contest will
certainly keep contesters busy this weekend. Please see October
