MALAWI, 7Q. Harry, 7Q7HB is active from here for about eight more weeks. Meanwhile, Les, 7Q7LA is also active for about three months. He may try some 30 meter activity. QSL both calls via G0IAS.

OMAN, A4. Marco, IV3NCC is active as A4/IV3NCC for a couple of months. He hopes to soon operate on the low bands. QSL to home call.

BHUTAN, A5. Wangpo, A51WD is usually QRV on 20 meters SSB daily from around 1000 to 1300z. QSL via F8IJV.

SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. Eric, CE9R is QRV from the Chilean research base ''Escudero Base.'' His length of stay is unknown. QSL via CE3HDI. Meanwhile, Lee, DS4CNB is signing D88S from the South Korean base ''King Se-Jong'' on King George Island, IOTA AN-010, until November 30. QSL to home call.

IRELAND, EI. Ingo, DH5ST is here until April 5. He is QRV as EI/DH5ST/p using CW and SSB on 80 to 10 meters. He may try some activity in the IOTA EU-121 group. QSL to home call.

ECUADOR, HC. Andy, NP3D will be active as HC1/NP3D from Quito beginning January 21, and will also be active as HC4/NP3D near Manta on the Ocean from an island named ''Isla de la Plata,'' IOTA SA-033. QSL to home call.

ITALY, I. IZ1CCE and others are QRV using special callsign II1D for the rest of 2003. They are commemorating the ''European Year of the Disabled.'' QSL via IZ1CCE.

ARGENTINA, LU. Robert, 3A2MY is active using QRP as LU/3A2MY until January 23 from Aconcagua, the highest peak of the South American Andes Mountains. Activity will be around 14280 and 14290 kHz using SSB. QSL to home call.

SUDAN, ST. Gerben, PA5NT will be active as ST2X from Khartoum from January 20 to 28. He will operate on 40 to 10 meters using mainly CW with some SSB. He may also be active on 80 and 6 meters depending on local conditions. QSL to home call.

NAMIBIA, V5. Hubertus, DJ1HN is QRV as V51/homecall until January 28. He is using SSB on 20, 15 and 10 meters. QSL to home call.

AUSTRALIA, VK. Shane, VK7KHZ is QRV as VK7KHZ/p from Bruny Island, IOTA OC-233, from January 19 to 22. He may be active on 20, 17, 15 12 and 10 meters on or near the IOTA frequencies. QSL via EA7FTR.

MACQUARIE ISLAND, VK0. Peter, VK0MQI has been QRV on 15 meters around 0000z and 10 meters around 0100z. He is here until mid-March. QSL via JA1ELY.

MYANMAR, XY. Hiroo, JA2EZD is active as XY1M until January 29 mainly on 6 meters. QSL via XW2A.

NEW ZEALAND, ZL. Steve, ZL4/G4EDG is QRV from Steward Island, IOTA OC-203, using mainly CW. QSL to home call.
